Having worked with Bridal Collective for a few years on brand website projects we learned about some of their operational challenges. As a global company with 4 regional offices, sharing a wide variety of resources where pricing, processes and cultures differed was a major challenge for them.
As part of our discovery process, we interviewed key stakeholders from each department and regional office to learn more about how they handled the relationship with retail partners and how operational processes differed between offices.
We identified numerous opportunities to leverage web technologies to streamline operations, reduce complexity and make life easier for staff and retail partners.
By the end of discovery, we understood how the business operated across each office and had a prioritised feature roadmap for each department and office.
It was clear that a web-based partner portal was needed and the Bridal Collective stakeholders got excited by our shared vision of how the project would positively impact the business.
The Bridal Collective Hub has been iteratively developed over several years, with us delivering features off the roadmap almost as quickly as new requirements were added! Some of its features include:
Access Restriction to certain content by member group. So staff, partners and press all have access to different content.
Regional-specific content including product pricing, line sheets and other documents gets delivered based on the user's location.
Smart Search with autocomplete: Since the hub is a powerful tool for all staff and partners, we added a smart search with autocomplete to make finding documents and product information faster.
Full Product Catalogue with eCommerce style faceted search and online ordering.
Live Inventory Lookup Tool that was created via a custom integration with an enterprise-level ERP system.
Event booking systems tailored to the unique needs and processes of each regional office.
As an actively developed mission-critical application, there are many more planned features and integrations on the roadmap. We're excited to continue developing this product for years to come.

Since implementing the Bridal Hub and rolling out its key features mentioned above, Bridal Collective has better organised key documents and sales tools for partners, and streamlined order booking and event management. Its retail partners love the ability to be able to access all documents and images quickly from any device, and the live inventory integration allows them to help brides with very short lead times!
