Web Design

What Happens Next?

Here is a brief overview of what happens once you enlist our services for your web design project:

Initial Consultation

In our initial consultation with you we will establish the following:

  • Your exact requirements
  • Technical functionality required
  • Who your company is, its brand, and who its target market is
  • Your desired level of accessibility
  • Whether or not you want the designs tested on real users to ensure the highest levels of usability.

The Design Process

This begins by organising the structure of your site and its content so that before pen is put to paper, we know that the content is well organised. It is critical that visitors to your new site can find what they want quickly, and successfully. We then create an initial template that fits in with your corporate branding. Once this template has been completed and the design approved, it is checked for compliance with accessibility and usability guidelines.

Development

Once everyone is happy with the template design, we can proceed with building your site in its entirety. It is at this stage where any functionality or scripting is added, along with the website's content.

Continued Support

Once your site has gone live you will benefit from our continued support. Sites with administration features (e.g. E-Commerce websites or CMS-driven websites) will be supplied with easy to follow documentation, and training if required. Customers with static sites are welcome to update their content themselves. However, most of our customers prefer us to take care of updates for them, to ensure their website remains accessible.
